Man Struck for Cell Phone

 

WOODBRIDGE,Va.– A man was struck in the chest and his cell phone was taken, according to police.

Strong Armed Robbery –

On August 21st at 9:05PM, police responded to Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl in Woodbridge (22192) for a robbery.

The victim, a 33 year old man of Delmar, reported to police that he was leaning up against a wall just outside of the Nordstrom Rack when he was approached by an unknown man.

The man struck the victim to his chest causing him to drop his phone. The suspect picked up the phone and fled the mall on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used in the search for the suspect.

Suspect Description:

White male, possibly Hispanic, between 17 & 25 years of age, 5’9”, 175lbs with a muscular build and collar length, curly black hair

Last seen wearing a blue shirt, possibly a soccer jersey
