WOODBRIDGE, Va.– A 35-year-old man was arrested for Domestic Assault and Battery, police say.

Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault | Domestic Assault & Battery –
On August 21st at 8:43PM, police responded to the 4500 block of Sparrow Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for a domestic. The victim, a 43 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, forced his way into the residence by breaking the front door.
Once inside, the accused confronted the victim and assaulted her. Another resident of the home was able to break up the altercation. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
