GAINESVILLE, Va. — A 26-year-old-man was arrested and charged with three counts of rape.

On August 13, 2013 at 2:46PM, police responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 8000 block of Crescent Park Drive in Gainesville (20155).
The investigation revealed the victim, a 24 year old woman of Gainesville, had been sexually assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, while residing at the residence in the above area. Following the investigation the accused was subsequently arrested.
