2 Sought in Sunoco Armed Robbery

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A robbery at a Sunoco station in Woodbridge has become a Crime Solvers case, and now authorities are asking for your help in finding who used a gun to rob the gas station of cash.

The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in providing information about an armed robbery which was reported to have occurred at the Sunoco Service Station located on Annapolis Way in the Woodbridge area of Prince William County.

On August 9th at 7:12PM, police responded to the Sunoco Service Station located at 1260 Annapolis Way in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that two unknown men entered the business.

One of the men approached the counter to make a purchase. When the employee opened to the cash drawer, the suspect displayed a handgun and removed the drawer. Both men then fled the store to awaiting vehicle being driven by a third unknown person. No injuries were reported.

Suspect Description:

2 black males, both reported to be between 30 & 40 years of age

1st male [armed suspect] was described as having a thin build – no further description

Last seen wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans

2nd male was described as having a medium build – no further description

Last seen wearing a white baseball cap, black shirt with white stripes, and blue jeans

Vehicle Description:

Small, black SUV, possibly a Ford Escape
