MANASSAS, Va. — It’s been a busy day for firefighters in Prince William County.
A firefighter was injured today on the scene of a 2-alarm house fire on Navarone Place just outside Manassas. Crews were called about 2 p.m. to find a fire on the second floor and attic of a single-family home.
Fire crews brought doused the blaze but not before one firefighter was injured. He was taken to a local hospitals for injuries, said Prince William fire and rescue Battalion Chief Curtis Brodie.
Later about 6:30 p.m., fire crews were called to Piedmont Vista Drive in Haymarket where firefighters saw flames of the first floor of the single-family home, said Brodie.
The blaze was brought under control, and the fire remains under investigation.
