For the last customer without power after Friday’s outage in Manassas, the lights were back on for them just before midnight, said city spokeswoman Patty Prince.
Today, power crews have isolated the problematic section of underground cable they believe is responsible for the outage.

The lights are back on in Manassas after a power outage darkened 111 homes, 31 commercial buildings, and two government facilities, according to city spokeswoman Patty Prince.
Included in the mix of places without power Friday in Manassas were two assisted living homes which had backup power generators, Prince added.
One customer remains in the dark and crews are working to restore power. It’s still not known what caused the outage.

MANASSAS, Va. — The power has been out for several hours in Manassas tonight.
City officials are looking for the cause of the blackout, and right now we’re working to find out how many customers are in the dark at this hour.
The outage appears to be isolated to Manassas, which has a utilities department that provides electricity to residents. A check of outage maps on adjacent power providers NOVEC and Dominion Virginia Power show no outages near Manassas.
