Mason Breaks Record for Cow Costumes

Where to the most cows live? Try the George Mason University. We’ll, Chick-fil-A fans dressed like cows, anyway.

And those fans on Tuesday broke the Guinness Book of World Records for the most people dressed in a cow costume.

A total of 470 people donned a cow costume and came to the university fieldhouse and broke the previous world record of 298, held by costume wearers in Canada.

The event was organized by Chick-fil-A restaurants in Northern Virginia, which gave away raffle prizes.

George Mason wanted to hold the event at their fieldhouse to celebrate the university’s move to the Atlantic 10 Conference, said Chick-fil-A spokeswoman Heidi Dykstra.
