MANASSAS, Va. — Lyle Foster III was found by a family member late Wednesday evening in Manassas.
The man, missing from his Georgetown South home since Monday morning, was located on Wellington Road by a family member who was driving in the area and “had a hunch” to look in the area, said city police spokeswoman Adrianne Helms.
Foster, also known as “Stumpy,” is said to be in good condition.
The Virginia Airborne Search and Rescue Squad was called in by Foster’s family to assist in the search. A helicopter from Manassas Regional Airport was also used to help find the missing man who suffers from memory loss, partial blindness, and mobility issues.
