Library Fines, Fees Can Now be Paid Online

Submitted News

The Prince William Public Library System is pleased to announce the launch of SmartPay, a secure online service which enables library users to pay for library fines and fees with credit and debit cards.

The Library System accepts MasterCard, VISA and Discover credit cards as well as debit cards with the MasterCard or VISA logo. The Library System does not add a service or convenience charge for its online payment system so you will only be charged for the library fines and fees paid.

To access the system, you will need your library card number and PIN (password) to log into SmartPay and retrieve the details of your library account. You will be able to view your balance, select items to pay, securely charge your credit card, and print a receipt. To access the system, please visit: pwcgov.org/library/onlinepayments or visit the Library System’s website and click on Pay Library Fines & Fees in the left navigational frame.

The Prince William Public Library System does not collect or store credit or debit card processing data. SmartPay is a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliant gateway.
