Crime Watch: Abduction, Indecent Liberties with Child Investigated

Abduction – On January 22nd at 5:45PM, police responded to the Clairmont School located at 3551 Waterway Dr in Dumfries (22025) for a reported abduction. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 26 year old woman of Dumfries, and her 4 year old son were abducted from the location by the accused, a known acquaintance. Officers eventually located the vehicle in the area of the Cloverdale Rd. The victim and suspect were located inside. The victim was not injured. The child was located at an address on Endsley Tn unharmed. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Alimamy FORNAH, 25, of no fixed address

Charged with abduction

Indecent Liberties with a Child – On January 22nd, detectives from the Special Victim’s Bureau made an arrest in an indecent liberties case which was reported to have occurred in the 13500 block of Cridercrest Dr in Woodbridge (22191) on December 17th [2012]. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 14 year old female of Woodbridge, had received inappropriate message via the internet from the accused. The accused solicited the victim over her Facebook account. Family members discovered the messages and contacted police. No meeting took place between the victim and the suspect. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Brian James MCCOOLE, 18, of 4712 Kentwood Ln in Woodbridge

Charged with taking indecent liberties with a child and using a communication system to commit acts with a minor

Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond

Dumfries police reports

January 16th – Burglary – Ms. Kathryn French of 154 Dumfries Road reports between 0945 and 1100 hours an unknown subject(s) broke into her home and stole some prescription medication, DVD player and assorted DVD’s valued at $225. No suspects.

January 16th – Domestic Violence Arrest – Ms. Laurene Haynesworth (26yoa) and Marquis Morning (age unk) both living at 2133 Fort Donelson Crt., Dumfries, became involved in verbal and physical altercation. Ms. Haynesworth was arrested for Domestic Violence. Ms. Haynesworth was also charged with providing false identification to a law enforcement officer and she was found to be wanted on 3 warrants from Hampton and New Port News, Va. for failing to appear in Court.

She was taken to the magistrate and held on no bond. Court date March 14th.

January 19th – Armed Robbery at Automotive & Commercial – 17449 Jefferson Davis Hwy – County PD handling the investigation.
