FROM POLICE REPORTS:
Malicious Wounding â On November 2nd at 12:32AM, police responded to investigate a stabbing which was reported to have occurred in the 18300 block of Chestnut Dr in Triangle (22172).
The victim, a 41 year old man of Triangle, was found lying front of an address in the 18400 block of Woodland Dr. The victim reported to police that he was assaulted by 3 males on Chestnut Dr. During the encounter, one of the men stabbed the victim in the neck.
Following the altercation, the victim walked to an address of acquaintance on Woodland Dr where police were called. The victim was flown to an area hospital with life threatening injuries resulting in a stab wound to his upper body.
This incident does not appear to be random. Investigation continues.
