Crime Watch: Police Pursuit Ends in Woodbridge

FROM POLICE REPORTS: 

Dale City

Attempted Abduction | Hit & Run – On September 8th at 11:44PM, police responded to the 3600 block of Felmore Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a domestic. The victim, a 26 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation, in front of the residence, which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and attempted to force her in the backseat of a vehicle. A friend of the victim was able to get the victim freed of the accused. At this point, the accused got into his vehicle and purposely struck the victim’s unoccupied vehicle before fleeing the area. Minor injuries were reported. Damage to the victim’s vehicle was estimated at about $1,800. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against the accused. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Brandon William SKINNER, 28, of 14618 Darbydale Ave in Woodbridge [last known]

Described as a black male, 6’2” / 320lbs, heavy build with short black hair, brown eyes and a beard

Wanted for attempted abduction, assault & battery and hit & run

Strong Armed Robbery – On September 7th at 6:41PM, police responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 4383 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193). The victim, a 17 year old male of Manassas, reported to police that he was at the outside ATM when he was approached by an unknown man in a vehicle. The man threatened the victim if he didn’t give him money. The victim gave an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency to the victim before he drove away. No weapon was seen and no injuries were reported.

Black male, between 40 & 45 years of age, 200lbs, heavy build with short black hair

A black, Chevrolet SUV, unknown year

Residential Burglary – On September 10th at 7:17PM, police responded to the 14700 block of Stratford Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:00PM on September 8th and 7:00PM on September 10th. Entry appeared to have been made into an attached garage through a rear door which had been forced open. Once inside the garage, the suspect(s) forced entry into the main residence. Jewelry, valued around $1,500, was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 8th at 4:19PM, police responded to the 13900 block of Mattapony Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 8:45AM and 1:00PM, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through rear window. The screen on the window had been pried off and removed. No entry is believed to have been gained into the residence and no items were reported missing.

Lake Ridge

Pursuit | Driving Under the Influence [DUI] | Hit & Run – On September 8th at 3:17AM, a Prince William County police officer attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of Old Bridge Rd and Rolling Brook Dr in Woodbridge (22192). The driver, later identified as the accused, ignored the officers lights and siren and proceeded down Old Bridge Rd to Occoquan Rd then to Hylton Ave. The accused then stopped the vehicle at Hylton Ave and Maple Leaf Ct and fled on foot. The investigation led officers to the address of the accused where he was arrested without further incident. During the pursuit, the accused struck a curb in the area of Old Bridge Rd and Occoquan Rd causing a part of the curb to break off.

Arrested:

Gael Amed MELENDEZ MARROQUIN, 18, of 1808 Carter Ln in Woodbridge

Charged with DUI, eluding, hit & run and driving without an operator’s license

Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond

Triangle

Armed Robbery – On September 7th at 5:45PM, police responded to the area of Lions Field Rd and Thomasson Crossing Dr in Triangle (22172) for a robbery. The victim, an 18 year old man of Triangle, reported to police that he and a friend were walking in the area above when they were approached by 2 unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The men took the victim’s shoes and phone before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported and no property was taken from the victim’s friend.

2 black males—

1st male was between 17 & 21 years of age, 5’8” / 150lbs, thin build with short black hair, brown eyes and wings tattooed on his chest

Last seen wearing a white t-shirt – no further description

2nd male [armed with the handgun] was between 17 & 24 years of age, 5’8” / 160lbs, thin build with brown eyes

Last seen wearing a purple & green ski mask – no further description

Montclair

Assault & Battery – On September 5th at 11:02PM, police responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at Forest Park High School located at 15721 Forest Park Dr in Dumfries (22025). The investigation revealed that the accused, a coach at Forest Park HS, had shoved the victims, a 16 year old female student of the school and a 17 year old male of Woodbridge, while in the parking lot of the school. No injuries were reported. Following an investigation, the accused was charged.

John Michael FARRY, 44, of 16073 Hayes Ln in Woodbridge

Charged with 2 counts of assault & battery

Court date unavailable, released on a summons

Residential Burglary – On September 8th at 8:16PM, police responded to the 15700 block of London Pl in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30AM and 8:15PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window which had been broken out. No items were reported missing.

Woodbridge

Armed Robbery | Malicious Wounding – On September 10th at 6:00AM, police responded to the 1300 block of East Longview Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a robbery. The victim, a 45 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking to his residence, in the above area, when he was approached by an unknown man, later identified as the accused. The accused displayed a firearm and attempted to remove property from the victim’s pockets. The victim moved in an attempt to get away from the victim, at which time, the accused assaulted the victim with the firearm. Officers were able to locate the accused at a nearby residence on East Longview Dr and detain him without further incident. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following an investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.

Clarence Djargator LAMBERT, 21, of 316 T St in Washington DC

Charged with robbery, malicious wounding and using a firearm in commission of a felony

Court date set for October 22, 2012, held WITHOUT bond

Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 9th at 5:44PM, police responded to the 13700 block of Tide St in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 8:00AM on September 2nd and 3:00PM on September 9th, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through the front door where pry marks were discovered. No entry is believed to have been gained into the residence and no items were reported missing.
