The vehicles involved in a crash at mile post 140 on I-95 south have apparently been moved to the shoulder, clearing the way for traffic to continue south.
VDOT reports the travel lanes of the highway have been reopened following the earlier crash.
STAFFORD, Va. — Interstate 95 south is shut down at mile post 140 after a crash.
The Virginia Department of Transportation reports the crash occurred about 8:15 p.m. Thursday. Traffic backups are at least two miles.
Virginia State Police did not immediately have details on the crash. We’ll have more on this as it develops.
