There is snow in the forecast for the Potomac Communities.
According to the National Weather Service, the white stuff should fall mainly before 9 p.m. in our area. Up to an inch of accumulation is possible, mainly on grassy areas, forecasters said.
While the area in recent days has seen temperatures that are more like spring than those normally seen in February, outside temperatures this morning ranged in the lower to mid 30s.
On Thursday, the sun will return and temperatures will rise to the mid 40s, stated the weather service.
