Stafford, Va. — Friends and family of the late 17-year-old Ali Wahdan, a rising senior at Stafford High School and #71 on the school’s football team, rode in procession in his honor Thursday night.
Wahdan died last weekend after complications with lymphoma surgery.
Many of friends who came to remember Wahdan Thursday said he was well liked by his peers.
The procession included more than 40 cars and wound its way from Dixon Smith Middle School to Stafford High School. They were escorted by members of the county’s sheriff’s department.
