Lake Ridge, Va. — Smoke inside a home on Forest Hill Road on Monday night prompted a visit from the fire department.
Rescue crews were called to 12556 Forest Hill Road in Lake Ridge at 9:10 p.m. after someone reported a fire in a kitchen.
Smoke was seen billowing from the side of the home as crews arrived, prompting them to pull an attack line into the house and douse the flames, said OWL VFD spokeswoman Rebecca Barnes.
No one was injured the blaze was extinguished within three minutes, she added.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
