Firefighters Called to Telegraph Road

Flames broke out at a home on Telegraph Road about 10:30 a.m.

It appears no one inside the home was injured.

Friends helped to console a woman who lived inside the home, Kitty, while fire crews worked to secure the scene after dousing the flames.

Initial reports indicate firefighters saw smoke and flames at the house as they arrived on scene.

The cause of the fire or the extent of the damage remains unknown.

Fire and rescue crews have been called to the area of Telegraph and Dem Rich roads for a report of a house fire.

Initial reports indicate flames and smoke was showing at the house when crews arrived.

It’s not clear if anyone was inside the home when flames broke out.

The fire comes hours after lightning sparked another residential blaze on Rockhill Church Road just before 1 a.m.

Two firefighters were injured in that blaze.
