Employees at Virginia’s Department of Motor Vehicles are taking a holiday this month.
All DMV locations in the state will be closed Feb. 21 in observance of Washington Day, honoring the nation’s first president.
Customers may still do business with the DMV online or through an automated phone service by going to dmvnow.com or by calling 1-888-377-4782.
Online customers will be prompted to create a PIN number to use on the website to renew licenses and obtain personal records, according to a Virginia DMV press release.
Residents in the Potomac Communities have three DMV locations to choose from when the offices are open normal hours – in North Stafford, Woodbridge, and Lorton.
