According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the ramp from northbound I-95 to eastbound Dale Boulevard (Exit 156A) will be closed Wednesday night, June 10 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning for asphalt patching.

Work may be delayed due to in-climate weather. We’re expecting some severe weather tonight.


A Jeep traveling on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge overturned at Malta Street.

Fire and rescue crews were called to the scene, across from BJ’s Wholesale Club, about 2 p.m.


Protestors walked from Liberia Avenue in Manassas to Woodbridge on Saturday under the hot summer sun to protest the death of Minneapolis resident George Floyd, who died during an arrest attempt by a former police officer now charged in his death.

The retired Marine and wounded warrior, who turned finance analyst, teamed with his business partner Ed Keels to a new restaurant for his family and friends to dine.


Prince William

This past Friday saw the Prince William Chamber of Commerce (PWCC) partner with the Prince William County Economic Development (EDO) and Emergency Management Departments (EMD) to provide area businesses with masks and hand sanitizer in celebration of the kickoff of the Phase 1 reopening in the region.

Staff and volunteers from all three organizations as well as two members of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors manned three locations throughout the region, providing over 4,000 masks and close to 500 gallons of sanitizer to around 200 area businesses. The locations were at the PWCC’s office in Manassas, the EDO’s office in Gainesville, and the EMD held their end at the Ferlazzo Building in Woodbridge.
