Woodbridge, Va. –– Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton VFD Auxiliary member Marguerite J. Arrington celebrating 50 years of service with the OWL VFD Auxiliary.  Rete was recently recognized at the Auxiliary’s Annual Installation of Officers and Banquet.

Rete, as she is known to her friends has a long standing history of dedication to the Woodbridge Community.  Not only is she a life member of the Auxiliary, having served as president, vice president, secretary, chaplain, and conductress, she also received the Auxiliary Member of the Year Award in 1976 and 2005.

Woodbridge, Va. –– Another Prince William County teacher has been charged with taking indecent liberties with a child.

This latest incident happened at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Woodbridge Middle School, when a 13-year-old female student told police her teacher inappropriately touched her.

Lake Ridge, Va. –– It was improperly discarded smoking materials that sparked a blaze in two apartment buildings in Lake Ridge, causing up to an estimated $2 million in damage.

Prince William police on Tuesday gathered at the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building in Woodbridge to remember officers who have been killed in the line of duty. According to Prince William Police Chief Charlie T. Deane, an officer in the U.S. is killed in the line of duty every 53 hours.
