WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On September 7, a 63-year-old woman was approached by two unknown men while sitting in Potomac Mills mall. According to the report, that’s when the men approached her, they stole her phone and quickly fled on foot.

Megan Elliott of Woodbridge, Va. was one of 115 first-year students who recently took part in the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Class of 2018 White Coat Ceremony.
Elliott graduated from C.D. Hylton High School in 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2013 and a Master of Science in Biochemistry in 2014 from the University of Tulsa. She is the daughter of Jay and Jane Melott of Woodbridge, granddaughter of Jenny Melott of North Platte, Neb., and wife of Benjamin Elliott.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On September 3, a 30-year-old man told police that after calling his friend to help him get gas, the friend and two other men came to the home armed with weapons. After stealing the victim’s safe, the men left the scene on foot.

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Association recently recognized its Woodbridge Chapter 1270 as the top chapter in the Nation for raising Alzheimer’s funds at NARFE’s 33 National Convention in Orlando, Fla.
During Fiscal 2014 the Chapter raised over $15,800 for Alzheimer’s Research. Over the past eight years, the chapter has raised about $100,000 for Alzheimer’s Research.
DALE CITY, Va. – On August 26, a homeowner told police that a man tried to enter their home through the front door. According to the report, the man left before police arrived but no entry was made and nothing was stolen.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – On August 30, officers investigated a fight on Jefferson Davis Highway. During the investigation, a 26-year-old victim entered a hospital nearby with a stab wound in his upper torso and police believe that he was possibly involved in the same incident.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Leaders in Prince William County have come up with a way to help keep their community clean. They call the neighborhood clean-up program Dumpster Days, where throughout the spring and summer residents are invited to bring their trash to a collection site where, yes, a dumpster is waiting to be filled with junk.
Cathy Holtzlander, who works in Prince William’s Neighborhood Services office, sent us some numbers that show just how much trash was collected during this year’s Dumpster Days:
