WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Prince William County leaders want more drivers to see the signs.
For years, there have been green highway signs on highways welcoming drivers to the county. Blue street signs hung on the mast arms of signal lights show street names.
LAKE RIDGE — If you’ve ever crossed the Occoquan River bridge on Route 123 while traveling south from Fairfax County, you know about the constant backups.
On weekday afternoons, the right lane of three slows quickly as drivers queue up to turn right onto Old Bridge Road for the last leg of their commutes into eastern Prince William County.

CENTERFUSE, the unique, shared coworking space located in the heart of Historic Downtown Manassas at Center and Main Streets, has announced the first sessions in its Launch-A-Business (LAB) education and incubator seminar series for emerging small businesses. The LAB Program – a core tenet of CENTERFUSE’s business plan to empower entrepreneurs and startup small business ventures, will begin sessions on April 18, with two-hour seminars every other weekend for 8 weeks.
The first in an on-going series of LAB seminar sessions – will teach participating new business owners practical knowledge, best practice insights, and legal and logistical fundamentals for launching and operating a startup company.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — Now called a zombie road after the Prince William County Board of Supervisors removed it from the county’s comprehensive plan, David Birtwistle, of the Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance, urged officials to bring back the Bi-County Parkway.
The Alliance, known for championing road projects in the growing sections of western Northern Virginia, said the road would allow the George Mason University Science Center outside Manassas to boom, attract new employers to the county, and provide better access to Dulles International Airport.

WOODBRIDGE — It’s the second phase of a much talked about project: a new interchange at Routes 1 and 123.
For years, this road improvement has been viewed as a catalyst for redevelopment in “North” Woodbridge. The overpass would remove a traffic light notorious for stalling traffic at the congested intersection of the two major thoroughfares Routes 1 and 123, and would provide direct access to more than 1 million square feet of commercially-zoned land in Belmont Bay along the Occoquan River.
