Each year, the Chamber invites Manassas, Manassas Park, and Prince William County to present an award of their choosing at the annual business awards event. The selection criteria are entirely up to them.

Seniors have specific challenges that we often don’t think about when we’re younger. One of those is downsizing. Often, after the kids are grown and have moved out or a larger home just becomes too much to manage, seniors opt for smaller living spaces. This transition can prove stressful for all concerned, but especially the senior homeowner. Here are some ways you can help ease that move from big to small.
Bring in the pros – You have your expertise, and others have theirs. Get a team of professionals behind you to help ease the transition for everyone concerned. Start with a good real estate agent to help with selling and buying. Be sure the agent is familiar with senior moves and up-to-date on communities that support seniors. Ask people you trust for recommendations on lenders and moving companies that are experienced in downsizing.

Music and poetry aside, the “Steins, Vines and Moonshine Trail” promises to be lots of fun. The trail includes nearly twenty craft breweries, wineries and distilleries. Beverage producers and tasting rooms are located throughout the Prince William area, including Haymarket, Woodbridge, Nokesville, Lake Ridge, Gainesville and Manassas.
Farm Brew Live is slowing becoming a destination for both locals and travelers.
The campus on Discovery Boulevard in Prince William County features a slew of sub-branded venues, like the 2 Silos Brewing Company, and The Yard music venue.
WOODBRIDGE — The Prince William County Planning Commission on Wednesday will hear the case for Ray’s Regarde.
It’s a proposed housing development that could bring 325 new homes, both townhouse, and condos overlooking Interstate 95 in Woodbridge.
