From Dave Cobb, of Mission-BBQ in Stafford:
MISSION BBQ announced on January 5, 2017 that thanks to the generous support of our customers, the total donation to the local National Guard is $42,839. The donation total is from 10% of gift card sales sold between November 25 and December 31 at all 40 locations. The National Guard is an essential element of the U.S. military. Always on guard to defend the American way of life in an emergency, they are a force ready for whatever is needed in our communities.

MANASSAS, Va. — The owners of BadWolf Brewery and CJ Finz will soon open a brewpub on Battle Street in Downtown Manassas, sources close to the project told Potomac Local.
Owners of the respective establishments have been mum on details of the new joint, and we don’t yet know when it will open.

Zandra’s Taqueria once again invited the community to join in the “Warm Up the Community” clothing drive, held in conjunction with the Greater Manassas Christmas Parade. The eatery collected more than 50 coats, along with numerous scarves, hats, socks and gloves during the drive, which is now in its third year.
