WOODBRIDGE — One of the busiest libraries in Prince William County is set to close for renovations once more.
Chinn Park Regional Library will close its doors from April 23 to June 3 for upgrades to computer workstation areas, children reading areas, and for the creation of a new meeting and conference room.

Police tell us they’ve arrested a man suspected in the attempted robbery at a Stafford County dollar store.
They found him trying to rob a bank in nearby Fredericksburg, according to this police press release:

The Stafford sheriff’s office — the lead investigating agency on the case — was called to the Fredericksburg City Dock at 5:46 p.m. Sunday.
STAFFORD COUNTY — Stafford County authorities were called to a Royal Farms gas station Tuesday after a gun went off.
Stafford authorities said two men were outside in the gas station parking lot when one of the men who was sitting inside a vehicle discharged a firearm sending a bullet into a windshield narrowly missing the second man who was standing outside of the vehicle.
STAFFORD — Officials will take about three-tenths of an acre of land on Juggins Road in North Stafford ahead of the opening of a new Moncure Elementary School.
The Board of Supervisors voted on Tuesday to take the property after ongoing negotiations between the homeowners association on Juggins Road and county officials failed. Per the association’s bylaws, two-thirds of the homeowners needed to approve the take of the property, but that didn’t happen.
