NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — At a bar in Stafford, Corey Stewart talked about his successes in Prince William and about why he thinks he should be Virginia’s next Lt. Governor.
In a standing-room only crowd, Stewart addressed members of Stafford’s Republican base, elected officials, and patrons who all gathered at Micks Restaurant and Lounge. The once Prince William Occoquan District Supervisor and currently the county’s top elected leader, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, he talked about being fiscally responsible in running local government.
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A fast-food chain more than 10-years-old will soon open in Woodbridge.
Great Wraps, a quick serve restaurant specializing in wrapped sandwiches, salads, and curly fries, will soon open in Potomac Mills mall’s food court. It’ll join several other decidedly more upscale restaurants like Cheesecake Factory and Bahama Breeze that have opened their doors in outparcel locations in the mall’s front parking area.

DALE CITY, Va. — An employee at a pawn shop in Dale City was stabbed this afternoon during at attempted robbery.
Police reported the stabbing about 2 p.m. Thursday, and said it happened at Pawn City at 4124 Dale Boulevard.
MANASSAS, Va. — The Manassas community will come together this weekend to remember a young life taken too soon by a mean strain of the flu.
Joshua Long, 16, died Sunday night at Children’s Medical Center in Washington after complications with the virus. He was a student at Manassas’ Osbourn High School.
