MANASSAS, Va. – Police were called to the Olde Town Sports Pub in Manassas on Sunday night after a guest became violent, according to police.
The man left the bar and had driven away in a car before police arrived, so officers fanned out to locate the man and were able to stop him in the area of Va. 28 and Maple Street, stated Manassas police Sgt. Lowell Nevill.
MANASSAS, Va. — Fire crews were called to a recycling facility on Notes Drive near Manassas early this morning.
They found a blaze in one of the processing units off of Balls Ford Road about 3:45 a.m. It took about an hour for crews do douse the fire because crews had limited access to interior portions of the processing facility, said Prince William fire and rescue spokeswoman Kim Hylander.

Update: Police report Imunique Harris was found safe.
OCCOQUAN, Va. — Mayor Earnie Porta of the tiny town of Occoquan is said to be the town’s biggest cheerleader when it comes to letting residents in the region know about special events during holidays, town gatherings, and sales at many of the town’s independently owned small businesses.
Now, instead of just telling people about what’s happening in the town, he’s actually going to bring people there.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Prince William County employees will keep their Columbus Day holiday, but 11 county employees who work to keep drug addicts off the streets will be out of a job.

On Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. join the Manassas City Police Department, the Prince William County Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in preventing pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. In Manassas, residents can participate at Prince William Hospital, 8700 Sudley Road. Other locations include Heathcote Health Center in Haymarket and Sentara Lake Ridge in Woodbridge. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
