DALE CITY, Va. – A Florida man faces charges of indecent liberties and sexual battery of a young girl who lives in our area.

A 13-year-old girl was abused at a home in the 4600 block of Evansdale Road in Dale City on Wednesday, said Prince William spokesman Jonathan Perok. Police were called to the home for a report of a domestic disturbance and then later arrested the man.

DALE CITY, Va. — The Dale Service Corporation will be sold to the American Water Works Company.

If the $27.7 million sale of the Virginia American Water subsidy is approved by the Virginia State Corporation Commission, it will mark the first time Virginia American Water will be in the wastewater business.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A new tool will make it easier for heart attack patients to receive critical treatment when minutes matter most.

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge implemented a new system called LIFENET. It is the first web-based data network of its kind that offers EMS technicians in the field the ability to send information back to a hospital to help doctors identify patients suffering a dangerous type of heart attack known as STEMI, or ST-segment elevation myocardial infraction.

DUMFRIES, Va. — The HOV lanes on Interstate 95/395 from Va. 234 in Dumfries to Washington, D.C. will close at 11 p.m. Friday. The lanes will remain closed until 10 a.m. Saturday, when crews will reopen the lanes in the southbound direction, from the Springfield Interchange to Dumfries.

A spokeswoman from the Virginia’s Department of Transportation’s Megaprojects office said the northern section of the lanes will remain closed until 10 a.m. Sunday, when the entire system will reopen to carry traffic in the northbound direction.
