Prince William police: “Allowing Access to Firearms by Children – On May 26 at 7:05PM, officers responded to investigate a shooting that was reported to have occurred at the Westgate Apartments located in the 8000 block of Ashland Ave. in Manassas (20109) at approximately 6:35PM.”

“The investigation revealed the victim, a 12-year-old male juvenile, was inside the apartment with his father, identified as the accused, when he was left unattended with a loaded firearm. The juvenile was handling the firearm when a round was fired from the weapon which then struck the victim in the leg. The accused contacted another family member who drove the victim to an area hospital where police were contacted.’

Prince William police: “Shooting Investigation – “On May 28 at 8:13PM, officers responded to the area of Delaware Dr. and Horizon Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed the victim, a 19-year-old woman, was driving when she briefly stopped her vehicle in the above area and observed two unknown men on the opposite side of the street.”

“At one point, the victim’s vehicle was struck by rounds fired by the men. The victim quickly drove to a nearby residence and contacted the police. The suspects fled the area prior to police arriving at the location. No injuries or additional property damage were reported. While checking the area, officers located shell casings in the roadway.”

Prince William County police: “Felony Animal Cruelty – “On May 26 at 6:59PM, officers responded to The Stone Point Apartments located in the 14900 block of Potomac Heights Pl. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic dispute.”

“The investigation revealed the owner left her 3-month-old Siamese and Maine Coon kitten in the apartment with a family member, identified as the accused. When she returned later in the day, she located the kitten unresponsive in the bedroom.”

Prince William County police: “The shooting at a residence Birchdale Ave. in [Dale City] on May 26 is now being investigated as a triple homicide. Three Woodbridge men, ages 41, 37, and 23, have died as a result of injuries sustained during the shooting.”

“The investigation revealed a gathering was occurring inside the home when one of the attendees brandished a firearm and began firing, striking four men. Other parties inside the home ran from the residence after the shooting, including the alleged shooter. Officers arrived on scene and located the four victims, three inside the home and one outside, suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided first aid to the victims until fire and rescue personnel arrived at the scene. Two of the victims died that day, a 37-year-old man located outside the home who was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 41-year-old man died at an area hospital later that day.”

Prince William police: “On May 25 at 4:27PM, officers responded to the area of Token Forest Dr. and Alistair Dr. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a fight stemming from a road rage incident. The investigation revealed the victims, a 30-year-old man and a 59-year-old man, were driving on Token Forest Dr. when another vehicle pulled in front them. The other vehicle then reversed suddenly and struck the victim’s vehicle.”

“The occupants of the striking vehicle, who were known to the victims, exited their vehicle where a physical altercation then ensued. At one point during the encounter, one of the suspects jumped onto the vehicle and began kicking the windshield, causing it to break. Eventually, the parties separated, and the police were contacted.”


Breaking News

7:15 p.m. update from Prince William County Police Department: “The shooting that occurred earlier today [May 26, 2023, at 2:24 PM, in the 14700 block of Birchdale Avenue in Dale City] is now being investigated as a double homicide. Further investigation revealed a group of individuals were inside the home when one of the occupants began shooting, striking four males.”

“The suspect fled the home, and the police were contacted. Officers arrived at the residence and located one adult male outside of the home, who was later pronounced deceased at the scene by fire and rescue personnel. Officers then located three additional gunshot victims inside the home and provided immediate first aid until fire and rescue personnel transported them to area hospitals. One of the men later died at the hospital as a result of the injuries sustained during the shooting.”

Stafford County Sheriff’s Office: “Shasta Place, 5/25, 8:32 p.m. Deputies J.J. Suh and D.L. Brookman, Jr. responded to a disturbance in the apartment complex. Once parties were separated and the dust settled, the investigation revealed 10-year-olds [girls] were involved in a fight.”

“A parent [34-year-old woman] encouraged her offspring to get pepper spray to defend herself. The child proceeded to get the pepper spray and return to the fracas. A blast of the inflammatory agent to her adversary led to a law enforcement response. Several people at the scene received a washout from rescue personnel.”

Stafford County Sheriff’s Office: “Two Stafford residents who showed up to court [Wednesday, May 24, 2023] as witnesses will now have their own court case after bringing suspected controlled substances to the Courthouse complex.”

“On May 24th at approximately 1:33 p.m. Deputy M.A. Pearce was in General District Court preparing to testify when he observed someone in the audience that caught his eye… The female advised she was waiting to be a witness in a [10 a.m.] case.”

“Further investigation revealed after the crash. The driver fled the area prior to police arriving on scene. Following the investigation, investigators obtained arrest warrants for the driver, identified as Jeffrey Wayne HOLMAN. Attempts to locate HOLMAN have been unsuccessful.”

“Wanted: [Photo from March 2021], Jeffrey Wayne HOLMAN, 55, of the 1400 block of Admiral Dr. in Woodbridge. He was described as a white male, 6’2”, 240lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes, and a scar on his left arm. Wanted for felony hit & run and driving on a revoked license.”
