Christopher Rodriguez, a 28-year-old former Navy sailor, will stand trial July 6 on after Stafford County investigators say be used an internet chat room about vampires to meet the girl, then traveled last fall from his home in Florida to meet her so the two could have sex.
The 21-year-old delivered the plea this morning in a Manassas courtroom.
At 9:55 a.m., fire and rescue crews were called to the 1300 block of Bayside Avenue for a report of an outside fire. When they arrived, they doused the flames coming from a medium-sized trash and discovered what appeared to be human remains.
Two hours later, the state medical examiner confirmed the presence of burnt, human remains.
At 6:10 p.m. Thursday, police were called to the 17200 block of Wexford Loop in Dumfries, off of Wayside Drive and U.S. 1, for a report of an attempted robbery.

Stafford sheriff’s deputies Wednesday charged a 17-year-old student with brandishing a weapon during an altercation with at least three students on March 7.
