It happened in the 200 block of Garrisonville Road (Va. 610) at 4:55 p.m. in North Stafford, when a man and woman were walking along Va. 610 when another woman driving a car pulled alongside them and began to harass the couple, investigators said.

As it turns out, the driver use to be in a relationship with the male victim, and the two began arguing. The driver struck the male with her car, and then got out and proceeded to hit the victim, said Stafford sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy.


Prince William

Kevin Lockland represented Kevin Kirk after a former Prince William County Park Ranger, Carillo Dean, shot and killed his 13-year-old son Connor, 15-year-old daughter Brittany, and his 45-year-old ex-wife Elizabeth inside of their Triangle home.

“I’ve spoken with the paramedics who worked the night of the shooting, and with the doctors at the hospital and learned that Brittany suffered a non-recoverable wound,” said Lockland.


Prince William

Carillo Dean, a former Prince William County park ranger, shot and killed 13-year-old Connor Kirk, his sister 15-year-old Brittany Kirk and their mother, 45-year-old Elizabeth Dean in their home in Triangle.

Prior to his sentencing, Dean apologized for his actions, and a plea agreement between prosecutors and Dean’s lawyers spared him the death penalty.

 North Stafford, Va. –– With few details in the shooting death of Samih Mustafa Sowan, many who knew him say they don’t how anyone could have wanted him dead.

Sowan, 49, was killed March 1 inside a home where he rented a room in North Stafford’s Austin Ridge neighborhood. According to the county’s sheriff’s department, someone that night broke into the home of Fife Street and shot Sowan to death.
