STAFFORD, Va. — More than 24 hours after three homes were bombed, authorities described a suspect who they say is an armed and dangerous threat to society.
NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — Sheriff Charles E. Jett today is expected to address two pipe bombings that occurred in Stafford County early Tuesday morning.
A press conference that has been called for 3 p.m. where his department is expected to announce the name or names of those suspected in the bombings and the charges they face.

Strangulation | Assault & Battery *ADDITIONAL ARREST – Upon further investigation into this incident, it was determined that the initial victim in this case had assaulted the accused prior to the strangulation.
UPDATE 12:40 p.m. Wednesday
Arrested on October 24th:
Strangulation – On October 17th at 9:30AM, police responded to Woodbridge Senior High School, located at 3001 Old Bridge Road in Woodbridge (22192), for an assault.
The investigation revealed that the victim, a 15-year-old male of Woodbridge, was in a restroom within the school along with a group of other students, including the accused, a known acquaintance.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — The police officer who shot and killed a Woodbridge man during a shootout near Mount Vernon will remain on the force.

FROM POLICE REPORTS
Armed Robbery – On October 9th at 8:51PM, police responded to the Holiday Inn Express located at 14030 Telegraph Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the hotel and approached the counter. Once there, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing, possibly in a black sedan. No injuries were reported. Surveillance photos will be released when available.
On two separate occasions, one in July of 2012 and the second incident in August of 2012, Laurence Stewart was reported to have exposed himself to two different individuals while sitting in his car at the Stafford Marketplace in North Stafford. Detective Greg Bender has investigated both incidents and his investigation has resulted in the warrants for Stewart’s arrest. Stewart was last seen in the area of North Stafford County in mid August.
The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is asking assistance in locating Laurence Alan Stewart II..
