Rape – On December 16th at 12:55AM, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau responded to investigate a rape which was reported to have occurred in the 15100 block of Catalpa Ct in Woodbridge (22193). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 22 year old woman of Fredericksburg, met the accused online and was at his residence in the above area that evening. While at his residence, the accused raped the victim. After the encounter, the victim went to a nearby fire station where police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

DUMFRIES, Va. — Police said the woman who was shot on Graham Park Court in Dumfries last night arranged the robbery that led to the shooting and is now a suspect.

Police said the 23-year-old victim of Triangle rode with a 42-year-old man from Fredericksburg in a car driven by a 47-year-old woman to Graham Park Court just before 5 p.m. Monday. Police said the driver picked up the 23-year-old woman and 42-year-old man at Dumfries Shopping Center on U.S. 1.

DUMFRIES, Va. — A female driver wearing male boxer shorts and a bra, an underage girl in a backseat, and a man with a camera all inside the same car.

That’s what Dumfries Police Sgt. J.J. Vazquez saw when he stopped a car on Prince William Circle in Dumfries on Oct. 20, according to court documents.

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — It’s been three weeks since 17-year-old Evan Newsom was shot and killed by police. And during that time no new official details about the shooting have been released.

Newsom was killed at his home in the early hours of Friday Nov. 2 in the 12300 block of Tacketts Mill Road in Fauquier County, just across the Stafford County line.
