From Manassas City Police Department:

At 1:10 a.m. on April 17, 2017, Manassas City Police responded to 9000 block of Centreville Rd for a report of shots fired.  Officers located a 25-year-old male victim who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds.  The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.  The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the family.  This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be forthcoming as the investigation continues.

Malicious Wounding | Abduction – On April 13 at 5:13 p.m., officers responded to a nearby hospital to investigate an assault. The victims, who were identified as 16 and 17-year-old juvenile males and an 18-year-old man, all of Woodbridge, reported to police that earlier that afternoon, they were driving in a vehicle near the intersection of Florida and Maryland Avenues in Woodbridge when a man, who was later identified as the accused, positioned his vehicle in front of their vehicle, preventing it from leaving. Suspicious Person/Illegal Discharge: On, April 12, 2017, dispatch received a call of a suspicious person possibly dumping an unknown material into the sewer at the rear of the 7400 Block of Stream Walk Lane in Manassas. This call matched previous calls and in the area where there had been cases of possible illegal discharges already under investigation by the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s Office and Prince William County Police. The ongoing investigation involved repeated discharges of petroleum

Manassas Park Police stopped a white van on April 9, 2017, at 2150 hours.  The driver stated he had no identification but provided information.   The officer quickly determined the driver gave false information.  Eventually, Blair Austin Christian, 56, of Manassas, provided his correct name.  A check revealed he is a Revoked Habitual Offender.   Mr. Christian […]

On April 10, 2017, at 10:53 p.m., Sergeant D. Pinzon was traveling southbound on Jefferson Davis Highway near George Mason Road when he observed an oncoming vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The patrol car’s radar detection equipment registered the approaching vehicle exceeding 90 MPH.

From Stafford County Sheriff’s Office:

On April 9, 2017, Deputy C.N. Mireles and Deputy K.J. Simpson responded to the Clarion Inn, located at 564 Warrenton Road, to serve a warrant. Upon arrival, the deputies entered the side door of the hotel lobby and observed a male subject matching the suspect’s description in the lobby. The subject saw law enforcement, immediately rose to his feet and fled out the front door.
