(Pince William police press release) Residential Burglary – On February 18 at 1:47 p.m., officers responded to a residence located in the 14000 block of Felty Pl. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate the report of a domestic with weapons.

The investigation revealed the accused, an acquaintance, entered the residence without permission while holding a blunt object. Officers responded and detained the accused without incident.

STAFFORD – (Press Release) Four suspects were arrested on Friday night by units with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office after attempting to break into a residence using an ax.

On February 8, 2019, units responded to a reported domestic with a weapon at a residence located on the 500 block of Eskimo Hill Road. The caller told the Sheriff’s Office that she had been assaulted and several individuals were outside attempting to break into the house with an ax. The caller also said they had threatened to burn the house down.

STAFFORD – (Press Release) A wanted suspect was arrested on Thursday night by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office after breaking into several local businesses.

On February 14, 2019, at approximately 11:38 p.m., Deputy Whitt responded to a business alarm at Vinny’s Italian Grill located at 397 Garrisonville Road. Upon arrival, the deputy observed that the glass pane on the front door was shattered. A review of surveillance camera footage revealed a subject in a dark colored jacket with a hood and wearing a mask and gloves breaking into the restaurant.


STAFFORD — (Press Release) A wanted suspect behind a pursuit that occurred in Stafford County last weekend was arrested on Tuesday night in Prince William County.

On February 5, 2019, Britney Bates, 34, of King George was taken into custody by the Prince William County Police Department. Bates was wanted on numerous charges out of Stafford County for his involvement in a pursuit that began on Kings Highway and ended in Prince William County on Sunday, February, 3, 2019.


PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — (Press Release) The Prince William County Police Department continues to ask the public for assistance regarding the whereabouts of Eli Joseph Blahut, who was originally reported as missing to police on January 31.

Eli was last seen in the Woodbridge area around 2:00 p.m. on January 25 after leaving a location on Ashton Ave in the Manassas area of Prince William County on January 25 (change from previous release).

MANASSAS — Police say they’ve identified the person behind a threatening social media post that appeared Saturday as a student from Stonewall Middle School near Manassas. The threat is not credible, and the student is now being interviewed by police.

Upon further investigation, officers determined the suspected prowler, had made entry into a resident’s garage before fleeing the area. Responding officers circulated the area and located the suspect who led police on a brief foot chase before eventually being taken into custody after a minor use of force.

No injuries were reported. The suspect was later identified as Saquan Milik PAYNE, a 22-year-old resident of Manassas. PAYNE was charged with Burglary and Theft from a Motor Vehicle, and is currently being held on $5,000.00 secured bond. PAYNE is currently scheduled to appear in court on March 13, 2019.


PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — (Press Release)  Commercial Burglaries – On February 5, officers responded to the area of Dale Blvd and Minnieville Road in Dale City to investigate five commercial burglaries.

The investigation revealed that entry was made into Tops China, Nail Club, Margarita Grill, Party World, and KikiRiki through the front doors, which were found damaged, sometime between midnight and 3 a.m.


PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY — (Press Release) On February 3, 2019, the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate a vehicle fire that was involved in a crash and abandoned at the intersection of Grayson Road and Matthews Drive in Woodbridge.

The joint investigation, with the Prince William County Police, involved additional charges related to a stolen vehicle, reckless driving, and a crash. Through the investigation of the vehicle fire, the origin and cause was determined to be arson.
