Press release | A man was arrested on Monday night by deputies with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office after a verbal dispute over tacos with a Taco Bell employee led the suspect to pull a knife and threaten to assault employees.

On January 13, 2020, at approximately 8:11 p.m., Deputy Bolinsky responded to reports of a disturbance with a weapon at the Taco Bell located at 730 Warrenton Road. The 9-1-1 caller, a Taco Bell employee, reported that a customer pulled a knife on him.


Prince William police were called this week to two reports of indecent exposure. The first in Bristow and the second in Dale City.

Prince William police press release | Indecent Exposure – On January 5 at 10:06AM, officers responded to investigate an indecent exposure that was reported to have occurred in the wooded walking paths at the end of Hunting Cove Pl. in Bristow (20136). The victim, a 51-year-old woman, reported to police that an unknown man, later identified as the accused, exposed himself to her while walking in the above area. The victim turned around after he passed and observed the accused expose himself again and make obscene gestures. The accused fled the area after the victim stated she was contacting the police. While investigating, officers received information regarding the identity of the accused. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as, Michael Francis FERNANDEZ Jr., was arrested.

Stafford sheriff’s office press release | FRAUD — Pinkerton Court, 01/06, 6:00 p.m. A resident reported that an individual impersonating a deputy with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office called him and said he missed jury duty.

Consequently, he needed to pay a fine in the amount of $1111.00 using gift cards. The resident realized the call was a scam and immediately reported it to the Sheriff’s Office. The incident is under investigation.


Police press release | Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On January 5 at 8:15 p.m., officers responded to the area of Chesapeake Dr. and Beveridge Dr. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shots fired call.

The investigation revealed that a resident in the area, later identified as the accused, fired shots from the balcony of their residence towards a wooded area, before leaving on foot.


The two men charged in a December 26 murder at a Denny’s restaurant on Sudley Road near Manassas were arrested Sunday.

They’re believed to have been responsible for a string of other armed robberies in the area, including this one that occurred at a Walgreens Pharmacy in Woodbridge on Christmas Eve.
