Stafford County saw multiple crimes happening on July 10 and 11 involving larceny, vandalism, a hit and run, drugs, and a DUI.

Major Shawn Kimmitz from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office sent us a press release detailing the criminal activity that occurred. Here is what we know:


The Commonwealth’s Attorney, Amy Ashworth, has announced charges for the suspect in a fatal car accident that occurred on May 1, at Cardinal Drive in Prince William County that resulted in the death of Deborah Lynn Talbot.

According to a press release from the Office of Commonwealth’s Attorney, the suspect, identified, as Cierra Dickerson, 19, has been charged with the following:


Prince William

A grand jury has handed down indictments have been handed down in the case of a homicide that occurred at a Denny’s restaurant on Sudley Road near Manassas, in the early morning hours of the day after Christmas in 2019.

The Prince William County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office announced it has gone over interviews with victims and witnesses of the shooting that took the life of 56-year-old Yusif Ozgur, a delivery driver who was picking up food from the eatery when he was shot and killed.

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office warns public of a scam after man gathers money to help, what he believed to be, his granddaughter in trouble and gives money to a courier.

A report on this scam occurred on Thursday, June 25, at 2:23 p.m., when a deputy was called to a home in Grafton Village for a complaint of fraud, according to a press release from Stafford County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, Layug was told that the resident had received a phone call from a woman claiming to be his granddaughter, according to police.
