A Stafford County sheriff’s deputy found a driver of a truck left the roadway, drove across a yard, and through a chain-link fence before becoming stuck, the sheriff’s office says.

Police in Prince William County arrested a driver who was wanted in connection with a fatal crash that occurred on an off-ramp in Gainesville.
Police tell us:
A police pursuit in North Stafford ended with a vehicle careening through a gate and crashing into a ditch, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office tells us.
On June 15 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Deputy E. Taylor observed a Mitsubishi Lancer speeding on Garrisonville Road in the area of Doc Stone Road. The vehicle then proceeded through a red light onto Salisbury Drive without stopping.

Rape – On June 14, detectives with the Special Victims Unit concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at the Sleep Inn located at 17470 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Dumfries (22026) on June 4.
