Attempted Commercial Burglary | Residential Burglary *ARREST – On January 19, 2021, the suspect sought in connection to the burglaries that were reported have occurred on February 23, 2020 at the Halal Food Market located at 1420 Old Bridge Rd. in Woodbridge (221912) and on March 3, 2020 at the residence located in the 13600 block of Greenwood Dr in Woodbridge (22193), was arrested.

While investigating, officers identified the suspect as Delonte Je Von TAYLOR, and determined he was connected to both burglaries. Following the investigation, on April 27, 2020 officers obtained arrest warrants for both cases. Initial attempts to locate the suspect were unsuccessful. On January 19, TAYLOR was located in Woodbridge and arrested.

Two men were arrested and charged with DUI over the weekend, according to a press release from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

Jefferson Davis Highway & Telegraph Road, 1/30, 9:53 p.m. Deputy E.E. West observed a vehicle driving 65 mph in a 45 mph zone. The deputy stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Juan Navarrete, 62, of Stafford. Navarrete had glassy eyes and he smelled of alcoholic beverages. Field sobriety tests were administered and Navarrete was arrested. He was charged with driving under the influence-2nd offense in 10 years, refusal of test, and obstruction. Navarrete was held on a $2,500 unsecured bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

A suspect was arrested for driving under the influence and multiple felonies after wrecking his vehicle during a pursuit.

On January 25 at 12:45 a.m., Deputy F.A. Martinez initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. Deputy Martinez activated his vehicle’s emergency equipment in the area of Garrisonville Road and the Jessica Chaney Bridge.
