Deputies responded to the area for a single vehicle accident.
Foxwood Drive, 2/21, 9:18 p.m. Deputy F.A. Martinez responded for a report of an accident. The deputy learned the suspect, Ismael Sanchez Orellana, 43, of Annandale, had crossed over into the oncoming traffic lane striking the victim’s vehicle head-on. Sanchez Orellana smelled of alcoholic beverages and had glassy eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered and Sanchez Orellana was arrested. He was charged with driving under the influence-2nd offense in 5 years and driving on a revoked license. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
Jefferson Davis Highway & Garrisonville Road, 2/18, 12:10 a.m. Deputy C.T. Richardson observed a vehicle speeding. As the deputy attempted to turn around and catch-up to the vehicle, the vehicle accelerated. The deputy then lost sight of the vehicle. Shortly later, deputies were dispatched to a hit and run. The victim advised the suspect vehicle sideswiped her vehicle and left without stopping. It is believed the suspect vehicle is the same vehicle Deputy Richardson observed speeding. The suspect vehicle is a tan or gray Honda sedan.
Telegraph Road & Jefferson Davis Highway, 2/18, 8:03 p.m. The victim reported he was driving southbound on Jefferson Davis Highway when a truck side swiped his vehicle. The driver’s side mirror was struck and damaged. The suspect vehicle is a white Ford F-250.
A restaurant and a grocery store were the targets of burglars on Thursday, Feb. 18.
Two businesses on Build America Drive, off Route 1 in Woodbridge, were broken into.
Pribble Lane, 2/17, 1:12 p.m. Several mailboxes were reported struck. The investigation revealed several connected mailboxes had been backed into and were laying on the ground. The incident is believed to have occurred between 4 p.m. on February 16 and 6:45 a.m. on February 17.
Armed Robbery – On February 16 at 11:00PM, officers responded to the Princeton Woods Apartments located in the 3300 block of Dry Powder Cl. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery.
The victim, a 44- year-old man, reported to police that when he arrived in the parking lot of the complex, he was approached by an unknown man. The man immediately brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s property. The suspect fled the area on foot prior to police arriving at the location.

The investigation revealed that while driving north on I-95, the victim, a 33-year-old woman,and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbalaltercation thatescalated physically.
At some point during the encounter, the accused pulled the vehicle over in the above location before grabbing the victim’s throat. Eventually the accused released the victim before driving her home. The victim initially contacted the police in another jurisdiction, who then transferred the case to Prince William County police.
Shooting Investigation – On February 13 at 1:18AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9300 block of Dawson Creek Dr in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a shots fired call.
The investigation revealed that a large party was occurring at the residence when multiple rounds were fired. Most of the attendees dispersed following the gunshots and before officers arrived at the home. Officers located several shell casings and further evidence a shooting occurred.
