It’s time for the year’s first outdoor festival in historic Downtown Manassas.

The 11th Annual Live Well Festival, will be held on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Harris Pavilion and along West Street. Health and wellness information, exercise classes, a farm-to-table brunch, paint class and more will be available.

Fatal Crash Investigation – On April 18 at 12:04PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the intersection of Old Bridge Rd and Antietam Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a two vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2004 Isuzu NPR truck was attempting to make a left turn onto northbound Antietam Rd from eastbound Old Bridge Rd when the vehicle collided with the driver of a 2007 Toyota Prius who was traveling in the westbound lanes of Old Bridge Rd. The driver of the Toyota Prius was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later. The driver and a passenger of the Isuzu NPR were not injured. Speed, alcohol, and drugs are not factors in this crash. The investigation continues.

Effective Tuesday, April 18 at 6 a.m., people who need access to emergency services at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (SNVMC) will have to use the main entrance of the hospital. The existing entrance will be under renovation from April 18 to the end of June. The campus will have signs to help direct patients and visitors to the main entrance. LAKE RIDGE, Va. — About 400 people per year, from five high schools and an adult rowing club use Prince William County’s only boathouse.

The Oxford Boathouse at Lake Ridge Park sits on the Occoquan River, and at 30 years old is showing signs of age. The roof — already replaced twice in the building’s lifetime — is again showing signs of wear.
