Police have one person in custody following a homicide on Saturday, November 30.

Felony Homicide Investigation *ARREST – On December 2, detectives with the Homicide Unit identified a suspect in connection to the shooting of Michael Bright ADOM that was reported to have occurred in the 4000 block of Westwind Drive in Dale City on November 29.

Speeding is not a problem on Cardinal Drive in Woodbridge, where a woman was struck and later died after walking her dog on May 1.

The victim, Deborah Lynn Talbot, 50, died two days later at an area hospital. A suspect, 19-year-old Cierra Dickerson, is charged with racing, a form of reckless driving, is scheduled to have a jury trial on February 8, 2021.

Police say they have a suspect in custody following the shooting death of two people at a Halloween party on Bristol Court in Dale City in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 1.

A total of four people were shot in the incident, which was followed by another shooting seriously injured another man later that same day, at a home on Hackwood Street in Dale City.

On Saturday and Sunday, October 24, 25, respectively, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. First Home Alliance will hold a financial emergency clinic to help those struggling to say in their homes due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The event will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, located at 13020 Telegraph Road in Woodbridge. Participants will be able to drive up in their cars and then speak to someone on-site for the intake process, to maintain social distancing,


Police were called on Monday, October 4 at 7:25 p.m. to the intersection of Beechtree Lane and Fern Place in Dale City to investigate a stabbing.

The 17-year-old male victim reported to police that he approached an unknown male juvenile and engaged in a conversation. At some point during the encounter, a verbal altercation escalated when the accused struck the victim.

The G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge was once home to minor league baseball, but it will soon become a temporary drive-in theater. 

The idea, called ‘Movies at the Pfitz,’ was conceived by Ben Hazekamp, a financial advisor, and Valerie Meale, a business development manager at Whitlock Wealth Management in Lake Ridge. They contacted Seth Hendler-Voss, Director of Prince William County Parks and Recreation, who supported the idea and aided in making it possible.
