WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Prince William police are honoring one of their own today.

Black ribbon was draped over the door , police motorcycles and cruisers at the Gar-Field Eastern District Police Station in Woodbridge this morning after the line-of-duty death of 35-year-old Prince William police Officer Chris Yung, who was killed yesterday on Va. 28 near Manassas. Yung, who patrolled on a police motorcycle, collided with a mini-van that was making a left turn into a shopping center at Piper Lane about 2 p.m. Monday.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Volunteers at Leesylvania State Park are putting together care packages for soldiers in honor of the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The care packages are being assembled for Operation Homefront, and various items are needed to fill boxes.

LORTON, Va. — The en Route! dance group touring Richmond, Va. and Baltimore, Md. will perform at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton. Their performance will come with a special dance lesson for youth dancers at any experience level.
