Today, Prince William County Fire Marshals arrested Gainesville man – Gerald Llewellyn Purvin – on five counts of arson.
The five counts of arson are on personal property valued at more than $200. This qualified as a class-4 felony, said Prince William fire and rescue.
In the afternoon on June 1, Prince William police responded to the Long John Silver’s location on Dale Boulevard in Woodbridge to investigate a burglary.
According to Prince William police, employees stated that the burglary occurred between 4:45 p.m. on May 30 and 12 p.m. on June 1.
The suspect in the incident has been identified as Daniel Boyd – a Manassas Park resident.
According to Manassas Park police, he is being charged with abduction, assault and battery, attempted arson and attempted strangulation.
This weekend town of Occoquan will be hosting its annual spring Arts and Crafts Show.
The Arts and Craft Show will take place on June 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and June 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On the evening of June 2, Prince William police went to a home on East Longview Drive in Woodbridge to investigate a domestic assault.
According to Prince William police, the victim – a 22-year old Woodbridge woman – told police that she and 31-year old Enner Barahona Sandoval were involved in a verbal fight when the incident escalated.

He made our sales tax higher, put a special property tax on us when we sell our homes, and put a special tax on our hotels. I will never vote for a person who believes it’s OK for me to pay a tax that he doesn’t pay.
