The event is postponed due to expected inclement weather. Here’s a statement from event organizers. 

Given the risk of inclement weather on Monday, Our Prince William and Smart Chicks on Politics and Entertainmen thave decided to err on the side of caution and postpone the “Baking the Pie with Your Dough” Townhall scheduled for Monday, February 8th.  Given the enthusiastic response of potential audience-goers, we look forward to announcing a replacement date shortly.

New commuter bus service from eastern Prince William County to Mark Center begins today.

Commuter buses will take riders from neighborhoods in Dale City and Lake Ridge to Mark Center, the federal employment hub in Alexandria that is the home to the Department of Defense’s Washington Headquarters Services, and other Department of Defense agencies.


Obituaries

Doris Riley Hinderliter, 88, of Fredericksburg, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was a graduate of Stafford High School and then worked at Quantico Marine Corps Base.

Here she met her future husband, James Hinderliter, who was serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. They were married for 53 years. She served as a dedicated volunteer for many years at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge.
