An FBI agent headed south on Interstate 95 chased down a driver of a van that struck his vehicle, according to Stafford sheriff’s spokeswoman MC Moncure. 

The male driver of the van stopped at the American Legion Road overpass, and he and female occupant of the van bailed into the treeline. The FBI agent called for help and gave chase:

From Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller: 

At 8:40 a.m., Wednesday, Virginia State Police responded to a crash in the southbound lanes of I-95 at Exit 158. The crash involved an SUV pulling a trailer. Two people were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. All lanes were reopened by 9:51 a.m. Crash remains under investigation.

The time has come to change the name of the Godwin Middle School voting precinct in Dale City.

When elections officials strip the Godwin name from the voting precinct, it will be the last trace of Mills E. Godwin in Prince William County Public Schools, the former Virginia Governor Dale City’s first middle school was named after.

Music at the Marina is Leesylvania State Park’s outdoor summer concert series featuring live military and local bands performing against the backdrop of the Potomac River.  Starting at 7 p.m. and lasting until about 8:30 p.m., this year’s dates are Saturday, June 25; Saturday, July 23; and Saturday, August 27.  Everyone is invited out to enjoy a fun and family-friendly evening of music.
