A National Park Service grounds team found a body about a mile from a parking lot where a missing Woodbridge woman’s car was located.
The discovery was made about 2 p.m. Thursday, and it comes a day after an intensive search for 31-year-old Nicole K. Mittendorff, who went missing last week. A Virginia State Police crew was also with the park service group that discovered the body, according to a press release: (more…)

A suspect is wanted after firing several gunshots into a crowd, hitting a 12-year-old boy in his arm and lower body. According to report, the shots were fired during an argument between the victim, an acquaintance, and several of the victim’s friends. (more…)
