Prince William County Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart, At-large was fired from the Donald Trump for President campaign after he staged a rally outside Republican National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. 

Stewart had been serving as Trump’s point man in Virginia since the billionaire held a campaign rally in Manassas last December. Monday’s rally organized by Stewart came as several Republicans rescinded their support for the billionaire presidential candidate.

The Prince William County Fire and Rescue Department today reported that it was called to these fires: 

On Monday, October 10th, at 2:13 p.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to a structure fire in a single-family home located in the 13700 block of Vint Hill Road in Nokesville.

From Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department: 

On Monday October 10, 2016 at 17:59:01 hours, Stafford County Fire and Rescue Department responded to a residential fire at 1496 Truslow Road. At 18:05:43 the first arriving unit from the Berea Station reported fire showing from the second floor of a single family home.


Good morning Prince William – Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 29th to volunteer with the Boy Scouts for a super fun event at Camp William B. Snyder in Haymarket. Volunteers will be asked to pretend they are survivors and victims of an airplane crash and a school bus crash so the scouts can practice their first aid skills. This is the ultimate get dirty, act out and even sacrifice your old clothes if you let the kids cut your pants or shirts to expose the pretend injury. Don’t worry- these kids are well trained! And you’ll be part of a huge volunteer effort.

From Prince William police: 

Sexual Assault Investigation *ARREST – On October 6, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau and Street Crimes Unit conducted an operation at the Wyndham Garden Hotel located at 10800 Vandor Ln in Manassas (20109) in connection to a recent sexual assault which occurred in September of 2016. During the operation, a man, later identified as the accused, entered the target room reserved by police and attempted to approach the bed where a decoy was in place. Detectives immediately took the accused into custody without incident. During the subsequent investigation, detectives were able to link the accused to the recent sexual assault at the hotel from September and a similar incident from October of 2015 at the same location. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Brandon Charles MURDOCK, was arrested. Additional charges are pending.
