PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Eight roads in Prince William County could become scenic byways.
The county’s Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at 2 p.m. Tuesday to discuss urging the state to issue a special scenic byway tag to the following roads:

OCCOQUAN, Va. — The Town of Occoquan lit its Christmas Tree on Friday night.

The toy float will come down the entire parade route and volunteers will collect your donations right on the spot.
Rangoli will celebrate its grand opening on Monday, Nov. 21 as the only Indian cuisine restaurant in Manassas.
The full-service restaurant relocated to the city after opening in Loudoun County 10 years ago. Owner Kumar Iyer said his fans have followed him to Manassas but were sad to see him close his old restaurant.
STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — The public school division in Stafford County will make available counselors to students at Rockhill Elementary School.
Claire Buckley, 5, was a student at the school. She was killed on Thursday, along with her 17-year month-old sister Abagail, mother Amy, and her father Lance who is believed to have called 911 to report a murder-suicide prior to taking their lives.
From police:
Malicious Wounding – On November 17 at 11:13PM, officers responded to the Exxon service station located at 8289 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 19-year-old man of Manassas, was stabbed by an acquaintance following an altercation over a previous drug transaction. The victim and suspect were initially involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper body. After the incident, the suspect fled in a silver, 4-door sedan. A witness was able to drive the victim to a nearby hospital where police were contacted. The victim’s injury is considered non-life threatening. This incident was not random. The investigation continues.
