From Prince William County police:

Armed Robbery *ARREST – On November 1, the suspect, identified as Kenneth Lewis HARRIS, who was wanted in connection to an armed robbery incident which occurred in the area of Mountain Rd and Loudoun Dr in Haymarket on October 30, turned himself into authorities at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center without incident.

Stafford County, VA – October 30, 2017 – Stafford County Fire and Rescue is teaming up with local Domino’s Pizza stores to remind citizens to change the batteries in their smoke alarms this coming weekend when the time changes. Domino’s customers in Stafford who order between 4pm and 8pm will be chosen at random on Saturday, November 4, 2017 to have their order delivered by Fire and Rescue personnel.

STAFFORD — It took $50 million to build one lane, and today it opened.

The 95 E-ZPass Express Lanes have been extended just past Garrisonville Road. Now, drivers have the option of getting off on Garrisonville Road, or staying in the express toll lanes — or in this case lane — to head south and merge back into the main travel lanes of Interstate 95 before Courthouse Road.

She’s been there less than a year, after winning the seat in a special election last November following the requirement of longtime city treasurer Robin Perkins.

Jaime Aguirre Pineda, resident of Lorton VA, died unexpectedly on October 28, 2017 at the age of 58.He is survived by his wife, Mireya Aguirre (ARA); his children, Karen, Jaime JR, Arnol and Ericka. Grandchildren, Susan, Jessenia, Jocelyn, Jeffrey, Catherine,Joana, Valeria, Nathalie, Paul and Kimberly. His brothers and sisters, Arnoldo , Elisa, German, Conchita, Marvin y Carlos. He is predeceased by his father, Jose Maria Pineda and Mother Concepcion Aguirre and Esperanza Quintanilla.

Jaime was born on December 24, 1958. He married Mireya on July 30 1976, the girl that stole his heart on an Easter weekend. Had 4 children who were the most important part of his life. He was a devoted father. He enjoyed reading, especially poetry and was an amateur guitar player. Jaime often played for his children and grandchildren while making them sing along. He was also a problem-solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects at work and around the house. He was a spiritual man who encouraged his family that above all there is God. Jaime was a very giving man, an amazing father who gave his best to provide for his family. He was a great husband of 41 years: a good brother and a great son who gave all to his parents. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him for he made an impact on everyone he came across, giving a helping hand to those in need without hesitation.
